All your pictures look professionally taken, who takes your pictures?
I have recruited everyone to, at one point, take pictures for my blog including my mom, little brother, and my boyfriend Josh. However, the images on my site that are professionally taken are done so by Dane Hillard, and he is crazy talented. Check out his website here!
What type of camera do you use?
When I am behind the lens typically shooting flat lays or still scenes, I use my Canon 7D with a 50mm fixed lens. I love that my camera has both still image and video capabilities and I am hoping to bring some video to the blog soon!
Are you still involved in sports?
Yes, I try to be! Unfortunately, I suffered a career ending injury during my junior year of college, which required surgery. Through rehab I am back up and running again, and try to stay extremely active by exercising everyday. I enjoy watching sports with my family and I love a good pick-up game of soccer or tennis.
Where do you live now?
I am currently finishing my senior year of college so I am a little bit of a nomad. I hope to move back to Los Angeles or to New York City when I graduate in April.
Who is your style icon and how would you describe your style?
I love the way Olivia Palermo and Julia Engel dress. I am constantly looking to them for style inspo. I would describe my personal style as classic and conservative while still mixing in trendy and youthful elements.
What do you recommend seeing and doing in Paris?
My Paris Travel Guide is a great resource for all of the things I recommend doing and seeing in France!
How many hours a week do you spend blogging?
Most people are surprised to know that I spend between 15-20 hours a week blogging. I treat my blog right now like a part time job and I am hoping to grow my audience so that I can make this my full time gig!
How do you keep up your blog while going to school full-time?
Balancing both my blog and my academic schedule can be demanding at times but as an athlete I thrive under pressure. I think I am 10x more productive when I have a deadline. I try to post consistently but at times that can be difficult I just try to let my blog be a blessing and not a burden. Blogging is so much fun for me that it never feels like a chore. When I first started blogging I was extremely inconsistent with posting. It wasn’t until recently that I started to get serious about creating regular content and managing my schedule so that I can excel at both my blog and in the classroom.
