I’m Regan, a twenty-something year old, born and raised in Southern California, finishing my degree in Art & Design and pursuing a career in the fashion industry in New York City. I started Always A Clothes Call in May of 2014 as a creative outlet and fun summer project; little did I know then that it would turn into this! After spending a few months studying in Paris, I found this was a place to compile my thoughts, pictures, and memories of the places I have traveled and significant events in my life.
I am constantly giving beauty and fashion advice to my friends and one day a friend suggested I also turn my blog into a resource for beauty and style tips. My mom and my grandmother have passed on to me lots of wonderful knowledge, and this is my place to share all of that with you!
Why “Always A Clothes Call”
Growing up, sports played a huge role in my life. With two brothers and a dad who played football in college, I learned how to call an audible before I knew how to braid my hair. I began this blog as a freshman in college playing division one lacrosse at the University of Michigan as I learned to embrace being both a girly girl and a tomboy.
Although the sports/fashion pun was the original idea behind why this blog was named Always A Clothes Call, God has proven to me that everyday is full of both blessings and close calls. His promises run true in those moments and he has grown me so much though all the close calls he has brought me through in my life. Through all of this He has proven to me that, “His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
